What the suffixes and codes in the ExRun designation mean
Number in the designation = available force values in hundreds of N, adjustable on site (e.g. “5.10” = 500 or 1,000 N).
Additional analogue position feedback (0–10 V / 4–20 mA) while retaining on/off or 3-position control.
Fully modulating (continuous) control 0–10 V / 4–20 mA with position feedback.
If the control signal fails, the stem stops and remains in its current position (-Y only, force 500/1,000 N).
Optional aluminium housing with seawater-resistant coating, nickel-plated cable glands.
Special variant (5 kN only) for ambient temperatures up to +60 °C (T4), 110–240 V AC/DC, 25% ED.
The same actuator for Zone 2/22 (less stringent certification than ExRun for Zone 1/2/21/22).
Version for standard environments (NOT intended for potentially explosive atmospheres) – otherwise identical data and dimensions.
Add-ons and accessories that can be combined with ExRun / RedRun / InRun actuators.
External add-on switch, adjustable on site, for ..Run linear (stroke) actuators – additionally requires a terminal box and a mounting bracket. Mounting differs from the ExSwitch variant for ExMax.

European certification for explosive gas atmospheres. Category 2G – intended for Zones 1 and 2 with explosive gases of group IIC.
Certification for explosive dust atmospheres. Category 2D – Zones 21 and 22 with explosive dusts of group IIIC.
International IECEx certification for use outside the EU – e.g. Australia, the Middle East, South America. Covers both gas and dust zones.
Declaration of conformity with the ATEX 2014/34/EU, EMC 2014/30/EU, LVD 2014/35/EU and RoHS 2011/65/EU Directives.
UL: certificate E340805 to UL 61010-1 (electrical safety). CSA (C/US): certificate 2236405 for Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 1; Zone 1 AEx db [ib] IIC – valid for both the USA and Canada.
Certification for the Brazilian market to ABNT NBR IEC 60079, issued by the accredited body IEx Certificações. Allows direct use in Brazilian industry without local re-certification.
