Electronic volume flow and pressure controller (VAV/CAV) in two versions: ExReg for Zones 1, 2, 21, 22, InReg for standard non-hazardous areas. It directly controls a connected ExMax-…-CY actuator (InReg: InMax-…-CY) without the need for an additional Ex-i module in the control cabinet.

ExReg is installed exclusively with the ExMax actuator (InReg with the InMax actuator) in the -CY / -CYF variant (4–20 mA input, 24 V only) – it does not support any other actuator. The combination forms a complete control loop without the need for an additional control system.

ExReg-V is manufactured in three measuring ranges, each available in 5 housing versions depending on the installation environment. The same model also exists as InReg-V for standard non-hazardous areas.

What the suffixes and zone variants mean

100 · 300 · 1000

Number in the designation = full pressure measuring range in Pa.

-A

Standard aluminium housing.

-CT

Aluminium housing with seawater-resistant coating.

-OCT

Offshore version – aluminium + seawater-resistant coating, stainless steel connection tubes.

-VA

All-stainless-steel housing for chemically aggressive environments.

-OVA

Offshore version in all-stainless-steel design.

InReg

Version for standard areas (NOT intended for potentially explosive atmospheres) – same parameters and dimensions.

-…-CY

The only variant of the ExMax actuator (for ExReg) and InMax (for InReg) compatible with the controller.

For complete VAV/CAV control, ExReg-V requires the ExMax-…-CY/-CYF actuator (InReg-V: InMax-…-CY/-CYF) and installation accessories for connecting the pressure tubes to the damper.
