A mechanical conversion kit that adds a linear stroke to an ExMax/RedMax/InMax-F rotary actuator for direct operation of valves. The kit has its own IECEx certificate; power supply and control are provided by the base actuator.

ExLin is available in 6 models by maximum stroke. If the required stroke lies between two values, the manufacturer specifies that the next larger model is always used.
| Model | Max. stroke |
|---|---|
| LIN-7.5 | 7.5 mm |
| LIN-10 | 10 mm |
| LIN-15 | 15 mm |
| LIN-20 | 20 mm |
| LIN-30 | 30 mm |
| LIN-40 | 42 mm |
What the designation and optional suffixes mean
Number = maximum stroke in mm (except LIN-40, which has 42 mm).
The base actuator must be a spring return version – the kit does not work without -F.
Optional C5-M marine coating + stainless steel fittings for offshore applications.
Separate certificate for the mechanical kit (no electrical circuits) – type of protection “Ex h” = constructional safety. Dust part: Ex h IIIC T80/T95/T130 °C Db.
The installed assembly is covered by both the ExLin kit certificate and the separate electrical ATEX/IECEx certificate of the ExMax/RedMax base actuator.
