ExMag is manufactured in three sizes according to the required holding force – the choice depends on the weight and area of the door/damper.
24 V DC · IP65 · steel/polycarbonate
| Model | Holding force | Current | Power consumption | Dimensions | Weight | Armature plate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EXM-650 | 650 N | ~45 mA | ~1 W | ~138 × 66 × 43 mm | ~650 g | GH-6 |
| EXM-1300 | 1,300 N | ~65 mA | ~1.5 W | ~164 × 86 × 58 mm | ~1,950 g | GH-13/20 |
| EXM-2000 | 2,000 N | ~160 mA | ~3.7 W | ~164 × 86 × 58 mm | ~1,950 g | GH-13/20 |
What the ExMag model designation means
Number in the designation = holding force directly in newtons (N) – no conversion or adjustment needed.
Armature plate on the door side – selected according to the magnet force, not included in the delivery of the magnet itself.
European certification for explosive gas atmospheres. Category 2G – intended for Zones 1 and 2 with explosive gases of group IIC.
Certification for explosive dust atmospheres. Category 2D – Zones 21 and 22 with explosive dusts of group IIIC.
International IECEx certification for use outside the EU. Covers both gas and dust zones.
Type approval for marine and offshore applications.
